Reuse, Repurpose and a new shop!

I am not sure why I decided to add a bit more to my workload, but I did!

Recently a friend asked my husband to drive a load of "trash" to the dump for her since he has a pickup truck.  While loading up the items, he saw these poles and decided to keep them and maybe find a way to use them. He was not sure at the time what he could do with them, but it did not take long for him to get this sweet bench built.

It was perfectly placed in an empty spot in our yard.  Simple and sweet, but with no back to it.  It was meant to fill in a little brick patch and maybe hold some flower pots.

A few days after the bench was finished, Joe(my husband) and I went to a flea market down the road.  It was a great day for some vintage finds.  As I started to walk away, I glanced under a table and saw an adorable sign that simply said "Zinnia's".  The owner asked $1.00 for it and it found it's way home with us.
I was not sure at the time, but somehow I thought it would look great in our yard.

Joe thought he knew exactly where it should go, and after a few minutes and a few inches of wire, the sign found it's place in our yard.

Well, it was just perfect!
As I looked at it, I thought what a great name for a new Etsy shop.  My first shop "Claire's Faire" really has more of a dressy/sparkly look.  But I also love rustic and simple items and seem to buy a lot of that as well.  So a new shop was born...Zinnia's Oldfangles on Etsy.  I am just getting started so there are just a few things in there, but I think I am going to like it!
I hope you will stop by and visit, and watch as we grow http://www.zinniasoldfangles.etsy.com/
